Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 6D is a little bit better than the Xperia Z5, having a 79.8 score against 77.6. Even though Asus ROG Phone 6D is extremely newer than Xperia Z5, it's way heavier and noticeably thicker. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 6D has newer 12 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it provides some nice extra features.
Sony Xperia Z5 has a bit sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 6D, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher number of pixels per inch in the screen. The Asus ROG Phone 6D has much more storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xperia Z5 counts with a much greater processing power than Asus ROG Phone 6D, because although it has 13 GB less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Asus ROG Phone 6D has a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 6D features a better camera than Xperia Z5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher 50 mega-pixels resolution, a lot larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way higher video quality.
