Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate has a global score of 83.2, which is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 8's overall score of 83. The Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate body is newer, but noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker than the Asus ZenFone 8. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate has a more recent 12 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11, providing you some extra features and a performance increase.
The Asus ZenFone 8 features a much more powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ZenFone 8 features a bit better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, a bit worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and less bright display, it also counts with a just a bit greater display density.
Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 384 GB more internal storage capacity. The Asus ZenFone 8 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor which offers a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same video quality and the same 24 frames per second video frame rate, the Asus ZenFone 8 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger aperture for better images in poorly lited environments.
The Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate has a very superior battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 50 percent larger battery capacity.
