Comparison review
Motorola Edge 40 Pro is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 7, getting an 83.4 score against 81.2. Although Motorola Edge 40 Pro and Asus ROG Phone 7 were released with only a couple months difference, Motorola Edge 40 Pro is lighter and somewhat thinner. Both phones we compare here use the same Android 13 OS (operating system), so both should give you identical OS features.
Asus ROG Phone 7 has a little bit better performance than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 7 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a much better display than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little bit smaller display and a little worse number of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 has a superior memory for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 7 features better battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro captures much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone 7, and although they both have the same resolution camera and the same video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has higher 30 fps video frame rate and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
