Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 7 has an overall score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A40's score of 79.6. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 7 has a more recent 13 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version, so it gives you some extra features. Even though Asus ROG Phone 7 is extremely newer than the Samsung Galaxy A40, it's way thicker and much heavier.
Galaxy A40 has a bit more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a little bit less pixels per screen inch, a little smaller screen and a much lower 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a much better performing processor than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Asus ROG Phone 7 has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 7 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy A40, because it has a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a way larger sensor.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
