Asus ROG Phone 7 has an overall score of 81.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy J8's 76.7 score. Although the Asus ROG Phone 7 is a lot newer than the Galaxy J8, it is a lot heavier and much thicker. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 7 has a more recent 13 version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10, so it gives you a couple nice extra features.
Asus ROG Phone 7 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy J8, because it has a lot better 2080 x 2448 pixels resolution, a way better quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a quite larger screen. Samsung Galaxy J8 features a much better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has 12 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy J8, because it has a lot better 7680x4320 video definition, a much larger sensor taking lot higher quality photographs and a back camera with lot more megapixels. Asus ROG Phone 7 counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Asus ROG Phone 7 features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy J8, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
