The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is much better than Asus ROG Phone 7, with a 91.1 score against 81.2. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition body is thinner and just a little bit lighter than Asus ROG Phone 7. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has the newer 14 version while Asus ROG Phone 7 has Android 13 version, so it offers some extra features.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a processor that's very similar to the processor in Asus ROG Phone 7, both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a lot better screen than Asus ROG Phone 7, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1968 x 2184 pixels and a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a larger display.
Asus ROG Phone 7 captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a camera in the back with a much lower resolution. Asus ROG Phone 7 and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition count with extremely similar storage for games and applications, both have exactly the same 512 GB internal memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 counts with a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4400mAh.
