Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 7, having a global score of 87.2 against 81.2. The Xperia 5 II construction is way lighter and much thinner than the Asus ROG Phone 7, even though it was released 3 years before. Xperia 5 II has a bit better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a little smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a little lower pixel density.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a much better performance than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Asus ROG Phone 7 captures clearer videos and photos than Xperia 5 II, because it has a lot more MP camera in the back, a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 has a quite bigger storage for apps and games than Xperia 5 II, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 7 features a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 50 percent bigger battery capacity.
