The Xperia 5 III is much better than Asus ROG Phone 7, having a 90.5 score against 81.2. Despite of the fact that Xperia 5 III is older than the Asus ROG Phone 7, it's design is extremely lighter and noticeably thinner. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 5 III has the previous 11 version and Asus ROG Phone 7 has Android 13.
Sony Xperia 5 III has an extremely better processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xperia 5 III has a bit more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a way worse 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution and a bit worse screen density.
The Xperia 5 III has a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 7, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Asus ROG Phone 7 has superior battery life than Xperia 5 III, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 5 III, because it has a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality, a way more megapixels camera and a much better video resolution.
