Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 6D has a general score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8's general score of 79.5. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 6D has the older 12 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version. Despite being the best in this comparison review, the Asus ROG Phone 6D design is older, a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the Asus ROG Phone 8.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a bit more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 6D, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2400px resolution and a bit lower pixel density, and they both have a same size screen, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with much more screen brightness. The Asus ROG Phone 6D counts with as much memory for applications and games as the Asus ROG Phone 8, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 6D has a bit better processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 6D also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Asus ROG Phone 6D has a little longer battery duration than Asus ROG Phone 8, because it has a 9% greater battery capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone 6D. They have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same aperture, the same video frame rate, the same camera sensor size and the same 7680x4320 video definition.
