Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is a bit better than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, getting a 79.5 score against 76.2. Asus ROG Phone 8's design is much newer, but extremely heavier and thicker than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a more vivid display than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, because although it has a bit lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution, much more screen brightness and a larger display.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom features a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom counts with a much better processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit longer battery performance than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes greater pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with a much better 50 MP resolution.
