The Asus ROG Phone 8 is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a overall score of 79.5 against 77.4. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 is much newer than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), it is just a little bit thicker and notably heavier. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 has the older 14 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit larger screen, much more brightness and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a 10% more battery size.
