Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 8's general score of 77.4. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 8 is much newer than the Huawei Mate 8, it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400, a little larger display and a just a bit higher display pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with an extremely better processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a bit more storage for apps and games than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a superior battery duration than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a way better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a bigger aperture for better captures and video in low light situations, a much better 7680x4320 video definition and a lot more MP back camera.
