Comparison review
Huawei Mate Xs has a global score of 91.6, which is better than Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 overall score. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Huawei Mate Xs is a way older, thicker and a lot heavier cellphone than Asus ROG Phone 8. Huawei Mate Xs counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a sharper display than Huawei Mate Xs, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little bit less pixels per screen inch and a little smaller screen. The Huawei Mate Xs features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because it has 512 GB internal memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with superior battery life than Huawei Mate Xs, because it has a 22 percent greater battery size. Asus ROG Phone 8 captures better videos and photos than Huawei Mate Xs, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photos or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a lot higher video quality, a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality pictures.
