Asus ROG Phone 8 is slightly better than Huawei P Smart (2021), having a global score of 79.5 against 79.2. The Asus ROG Phone 8 construction is incredibly newer and just a little thinner, but a little bit heavier than the Huawei P Smart (2021). Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 8 has the newer 14 version and Huawei P Smart (2021) has Android 10 version, so it gives some nice extra features.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a brighter display than Huawei P Smart (2021), because although it has a bit worse screen density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a bit larger display. Huawei P Smart (2021) counts with just a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The Huawei P Smart (2021) features a very superior processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots better pictures and videos than Huawei P Smart (2021), because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a back camera with a higher resolution, a lot larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much higher 7680x4320 video quality.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a little longer battery duration than Huawei P Smart (2021), because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.
