Comparison review
LG Velvet is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8, getting a overall score of 87.1 against 79.5. Despite of the fact that the LG Velvet is incredibly older than Asus ROG Phone 8, it's body is noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner. LG Velvet has a much more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a sharper display than LG Velvet, although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little lower pixel density, they both have a display of the same size. Asus ROG Phone 8 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than LG Velvet, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images and video, it also counts with a camera with a higher resolution, a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a lot bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
LG Velvet has much more storage to store more games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Asus ROG Phone 8 has greater battery lifetime than LG Velvet, because it has a 28 percent greater battery size.
