Asus ROG Phone 8 is a little bit better than the Moto G31, having a general score of 79.5 against 77. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the newer 14 version and Moto G31 has Android 11 version, so it provides the user lots of additional features. Asus ROG Phone 8's design is way newer, but somewhat heavier and a little thicker than Moto G31.
Moto G31 has a much more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a more vivid display than Moto G31, because although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a bit bigger display.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G31, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit longer battery performance than Moto G31, because it has a 10% larger battery size.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots way better pictures and videos than Moto G31, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a way better video definition.
