Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G7 Plus's 76.1 overall score. The Asus ROG Phone 8 is a noticeably newer phone than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, but it's way heavier and a little thicker. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has a newer 14 version and Motorola Moto G7 Plus has Android 10, counting with some nice extra features and enhanced performance.

Asus ROG Phone 8 has a brighter screen than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a just a little lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400px resolution. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

Motorola Moto G7 Plus has a much powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography and videos, it also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher resolution, a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality photos.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a superior battery duration than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
