The Asus ROG Phone 8 is just a bit better than Moto G8 Power, getting a 79.5 score against 76. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 8 has newer 14 version and Moto G8 Power has Android 10, giving some extra features. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 is somewhat heavier than the Moto G8 Power, it's a little thinner and also a lot newer.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a brighter display than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Moto G8 Power counts with a much faster processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a better storage to install games and applications than Moto G8 Power, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Moto G8 Power, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity against 5000mAh.

Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a way higher 7680x4320 video definition and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
