Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Moto G9 Play's general score of 76.7. Asus ROG Phone 8's construction is incredibly newer and just a little bit thinner, but also heavier than Moto G9 Play. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 8 has newer 14 version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, giving a lot of extra features and performance optimizations.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much more vibrant screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because it has a better display pixel density, a quite bigger display and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a bigger memory for games and applications than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.
Moto G9 Play has an extremely better processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit superior battery duration than Moto G9 Play, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 8 captures much better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs, a more MP back-facing camera and a much higher 7680x4320 video quality.
