The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a global score of 79.5, which is a bit better than Moto Z2 Force Edition's 77.4 general score. Asus ROG Phone 8 is a notably newer device than Moto Z2 Force Edition, but it is much thicker and notably heavier. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a way lower pixel count per inch in the display, it also counts with a bigger display.
Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a much better performing CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Moto Z2 Force Edition features a better memory for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in poorly lited situations, a much higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a way bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much longer battery duration than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 2730mAh.
