Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G's general score of 77. Asus ROG Phone 8's construction is somewhat thicker and much heavier than OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has newer 14 version and OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G has Android 11, providing the user some additional features.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features just a bit better looking display than OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a little larger screen and a much brighter display. The OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G counts with a lot better processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8. Both of them have a 12 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 captures a little bit better photos and videos than OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and a back facing camera with way less MP resolution, it also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video quality. OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G and Asus ROG Phone 8 both feature similar memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
