Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8, having an 85 score against 79.5. These phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy M40 has older 10 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. Even though Galaxy M40 is much older than the Asus ROG Phone 8, it's body is thinner and notably lighter.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a brighter screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little inferior count of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little larger display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Galaxy M40 has a much faster CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos and/or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a way bigger sensor taking way higher quality pictures, a lot better 7680x4320 video quality and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Galaxy M40 counts with a slightly bigger memory for applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
