Galaxy Note5 has a global score of 80.2, which is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 8's global score of 79.5. Galaxy Note5's construction is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter than Asus ROG Phone 8, even though it was released 9 years before. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels density and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a larger screen.
Galaxy Note5 features a lot better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a 5500mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have a F1.9 aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has a way more MP back-facing camera, a much higher video resolution and a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality.
