Comparison review
The Galaxy S20 has a global score of 94.8, which is much better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 general score. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Galaxy S20 has older 13 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. Although Galaxy S20 is noticeably older than the Asus ROG Phone 8, it's construction is much lighter and thinner.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy S20, because although it has a much worse pixels amount per inch of display and a much lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a little larger screen. Samsung Galaxy S20 features a better memory to store more apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a really superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8. They have a 12 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a better camera than Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light photos, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 24 fps video frame rates, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a larger camera sensor and a much better resolution back facing camera.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S20, because it has a 5500mAh battery size.
