Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S22 has a global score of 93.4, which is much better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 score. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S22 has the older 13 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version. The Samsung Galaxy S22 design is much lighter and somewhat thinner than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it was released a little bit more than a year before.
Galaxy S22 counts with a very superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy S22 has just a bit better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has a lot more opaque display, a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S22, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S22, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for shooting photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, they both have the same 24 fps video frame rates, the same back-facing camera sensor size, the same video definition and a camera with a 50 mega-pixels.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better battery duration than Galaxy S22, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
