Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is much better than the Asus ROG Phone 8, getting a general score of 90.7 against 79.5. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a much lighter and much thinner cellphone than the Asus ROG Phone 8. Both devices we are comparing include the same Android 14 OS (Operating System). The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features a little bit better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have a same size screen, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra also has a bit more brightness, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels and a better count of pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's processing unit is just as good as the Asus ROG Phone 8 one, both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 8 one, both have exactly the same 256 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra takes much better pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have the same 7680x4320 video resolution, the Galaxy S25 Ultra also has a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality photos, faster video frame rates, a camera with way more mega-pixels and a bigger camera aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S25 Ultra, because it has a 5500mAh battery size.
