The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a global score of 79.5, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 score. These phones have Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the older 14 version and Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Asus ROG Phone 8 design is newer and notably thinner than the Xperia XZ2 Compact's, but it is also incredibly heavier.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a little sharper display than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with much more brightness, a way larger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
