Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 general score. Asus ROG Phone 8's construction is noticeably newer, but a bit thicker and extremely heavier than Xiaomi 12. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has newer 14 version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12, offering lots of additional features and optimized performance.
The Xiaomi 12's processor is just as good as the Asus ROG Phone 8 one, and although the Xiaomi 12 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a little bit lower screen density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with much more display brightness and a quite larger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi 12, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features longer battery life than Xiaomi 12, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh. Xiaomi 12 has a camera that is very similar to Asus ROG Phone 8's camera, both of them have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 7680x4320 video quality, the same video frame rate, a same size sensor and a F1.9 aperture.
