Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a general score of 88.3, which is better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's overall score of 79.5. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a noticeably older and thicker phone than Asus ROG Phone 8, but Xiaomi managed to make it a little bit lighter anyway. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has the older 11 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a quite worse count of pixels per display inch, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400px resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with way more brightness and a little bit larger display.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has an extremely better processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs and a higher resolution camera.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
