Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8's global score of 79.5. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version. Xiaomi Mi 8's design is way lighter and thinner than the Asus ROG Phone 8, even though it was released many years before.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a very superior CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little bit lower number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bigger screen, a much brighter display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking images and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video quality, a much larger sensor which offers a way better image and video quality and a lot higher 50 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi 8's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 8 one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a really longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 62 percent larger battery capacity.
