Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mix Flip is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8, having an 83.2 score against 79.5. Even though Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Asus ROG Phone 8 were released with only a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mix Flip is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. Both phones in this comparison review include the same Android 14 operating system.
Xiaomi Mix Flip's processor is very similar to Asus ROG Phone 8's processing unit, they have a 12 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Mix Flip has a little bit better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 8, because it has a little bigger screen, a just a bit greater pixel number per inch in the display, a little higher 1224 x 2912 resolution and a quite more brightness.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mix Flip, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for shooting photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, they both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rate and a 50 megapixels back facing camera.
Xiaomi Mix Flip's storage for games and applications is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 8 one, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 features just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Mix Flip, because it has a 15% more battery capacity.
