Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro's global score of 79.5. Both phones in this comparison include Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has newer 14 version and Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro has Android 13, so it counts with some nice extra features and improved performance. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 8 is better than Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro, it must be noted that it's also a just a bit heavier and just a little thicker cellphone.
Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro's processing unit is just as good as Asus ROG Phone 8's processing unit, and although the Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro features a little sharper display than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has much darker screen and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3200 resolution and more pixels per display inch.
Asus ROG Phone 8 takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and videos and a back-facing camera with way less megapixels resolution. The Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro's memory capacity for apps and games is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 8 one, both have equal internal memory capacity.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features just a bit better battery life than Xiaomi POCO F5 Pro, because it has a 7% more battery size.
