Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is much better than Asus ROG Phone 8, getting a 91.5 score against 79.5. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has the older 12 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer body has the same thickness than Asus ROG Phone 8, but it's just a bit lighter.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a way better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a quite larger screen and a really brighter screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's memory for applications and games is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 8 one, both have equal internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has a 5500mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer captures much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photography, higher 30 fps video frame rates, a larger camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality and a camera with lot more mega-pixels.
