Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a general score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 score. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is incredibly older than the Asus ROG Phone 8, it's body is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a just a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a little bigger screen and a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a much faster CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much bigger sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with a higher resolution and a lot better 7680x4320 video quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features just a bit more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB more internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has a 38 percent more battery size.
