The Asus ZenFone 8 is much better than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, with an 83 score against 74.2. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Asus ZenFone 8 has the older 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro has Android 15 version. The Asus ZenFone 8 has a much more vibrant screen than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, although it has a bit smaller display and much less brightness.
Asus ZenFone 8 has an extremely better CPU than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro features much more memory to install applications and games than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 384 GB more internal memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro has a much better battery performance than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 5800mAh of battery capacity. The Asus ZenFone 8 takes much clearer videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking lower quality photos, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
