Galaxy A40 has an overall score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro's general score of 74.2. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy A40 has 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro has Android 15 version. Galaxy A40 features a way better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, although it has a little smaller display.
Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy A40 has a much powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro counts with a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has an 87% larger battery capacity.
