Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is much better than the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro's general score of 74.2. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Xperia 1 III has older 11 version and Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro has Android 15 version. Xperia 1 III features a very superior hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia 1 III counts with a way better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, although it has a little smaller screen. Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro also counts with a bigger back camera sensor taking better quality videos and photographs and a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels.

Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro counts with greater battery life than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has 5800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
The Sony Xperia 1 III is a little more expensive than Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
