Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 has a global score of 89.1, which is much better than the Asus ROG Phone's 77.1 general score. Huawei Mate X2's design is incredibly newer and just a bit thinner than Asus ROG Phone's, although it is also noticeably heavier. Asus ROG Phone counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate X2, although it has a little less pixels per inch of display, a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a lot smaller display.
Huawei Mate X2 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus ROG Phone. They have 8 CPU cores and a 8 GB RAM. The Asus ROG Phone features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate X2, because it has 256 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X2 features just a bit longer battery duration than Asus ROG Phone, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Huawei Mate X2 captures much clearer photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and/or video in low-light situations, they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus ROG Phone, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ROG Phone. If you want to save some money, you can get the Asus ROG Phone, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
