Motorola Moto G8 Plus is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone, with a overall score of 77.6 against 77.1. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus design is newer and just a bit lighter than the Asus ROG Phone's, although it is also a little thicker. Asus ROG Phone counts with a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone features just a bit better looking display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. The Moto G8 Plus counts with a much better camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Moto G8 Plus also counts with a way bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures in low-light situations.
Asus ROG Phone has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Moto G8 Plus's battery lifetime is just as good as the battery duration in Asus ROG Phone.
