Comparison review
Moto Z2 Play is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone, having a overall score of 77.4 against 77.1. The Moto Z2 Play design is noticeably lighter and noticeably thinner than the Asus ROG Phone, even though it was released around 16 months before. Asus ROG Phone features a bit more powerful processor than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone features a slightly better looking screen than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a little higher 1080 x 2160 resolution, a little larger screen and a just a little higher pixels density. The Moto Z2 Play counts with a very superior camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Moto Z2 Play also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture.
Asus ROG Phone has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone has longer battery life than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
Moto Z2 Play is not only the best devices in this comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper.
