Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, getting a 77.1 score against 76.3. Despite being the best we compare here, the Asus ROG Phone design is way thicker and notably heavier than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. Asus ROG Phone has a little bit better processing power than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone has a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. They have a higher pixels quantity in each display inch, a display with the same size and the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2160. Moto Z3 Play has a much better camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a 0.39 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Moto Z3 Play also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light images and video.
Asus ROG Phone features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Asus ROG Phone counts with greater battery lifetime than Moto Z3 Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto Z3 Play. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Motorola Moto Z3 Play, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
