Galaxy A42 is much better than Asus ROG Phone, getting an 87 score against 77.1. The Galaxy A42 is a just a little bit lighter phone than the Asus ROG Phone, but both have the same thickness. Asus ROG Phone features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher screen density and a much better 1080 x 2160px resolution. Galaxy A42 shoots greater photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, they both have the same aperture and the same (4K) video definition.
