Asus ROG Phone is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), with a 77.1 score against 75.8. Although the Asus ROG Phone is newer than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), it's just a bit thicker and incredibly heavier. The Asus ROG Phone has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone counts with a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a bigger display. Galaxy A5 (2017) features a way better camera than Asus ROG Phone, although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photos and videos, they both have the same video quality.
