Asus ROG Phone has an overall score of 77.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Alpha's score of 76.3. Asus ROG Phone is a noticeably heavier and a lot thicker phone than the Galaxy Alpha. Asus ROG Phone features a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.
Asus ROG Phone has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a bigger display, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a higher pixel quantity in each screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a lot better camera than Asus ROG Phone, although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier aperture, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone features a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone counts with a much better battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 1860mAh.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy Alpha, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
