The Galaxy Note5 has an overall score of 80.2, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone's global score of 77.1. Galaxy Note5's design is somewhat lighter and thinner than the Asus ROG Phone, despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before. The Asus ROG Phone counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM.

Galaxy Note5 counts with a display that's very similar to the display in Asus ROG Phone, because although the Galaxy Note5 has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen density and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note5 takes greater pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone, although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, a smaller camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photography and video, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

The Asus ROG Phone features a very superior storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone counts with improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a 33% bigger battery capacity.
