Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone, having an 81.7 score against 77.1. Galaxy S8's design is a lot lighter and a little thinner than the Asus ROG Phone, even though it was released about 19 months before. Asus ROG Phone has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy S8 has a bit more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a higher pixel quantity per screen inch. The Asus ROG Phone has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory capacity.
Asus ROG Phone has superior battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S8 captures much better photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has lower video frame rates, and they both have a 0.39 inches camera sensor and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also counts with a larger aperture to capture better photography in poorly lited situations.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Samsung Galaxy S8 is also by far the cheapest one, making it very easy to pick between these devices.
