Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is way better than Asus ROG Phone's 77.1 general score. Xperia 1 III's body is newer, just a little lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Asus ROG Phone. Sony Xperia 1 III has a processor that is just as good as Asus ROG Phone's processor, and although the Sony Xperia 1 III has a greater amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Xperia 1 III counts with a slightly better screen than Asus ROG Phone, because it has a much greater pixels count per display inch, a bit bigger display and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840px. Sony Xperia 1 III features a way better camera than Asus ROG Phone, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a larger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light environments, better video frame rates and a lot larger sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos.
Xperia 1 III counts with a little bit more storage for apps and games than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 III has just a little bit longer battery performance than Asus ROG Phone, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Xperia 1 III is more expensive than Asus ROG Phone, but you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
