Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone's general score of 77.1. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Xperia XZ2 Premium is a way thicker and heavier phone than the Asus ROG Phone. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 2160 x 3840px resolution, much more pixels per inch in the screen and much more brightness.
The Asus ROG Phone has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM memory. The Asus ROG Phone has a much better storage for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Asus ROG Phone counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13 percent greater battery capacity. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium captures much better videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Xperia XZ2 Premium is also a bit cheaper, which makes it an easy decision.
