Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone, with an 83.2 score against 77.1. The Xiaomi Mi 9 construction is somewhat lighter and thinner than Asus ROG Phone, even though both were only released 4 months apart. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a display that is just as good as Asus ROG Phone's screen, although the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340, a quite bigger display, a little bit higher count of pixels per display inch and a little bit brighter screen.
Asus ROG Phone counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Asus ROG Phone counts with a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 512 GB internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone has better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3300mAh. The Xiaomi Mi 9 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same camera aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
