Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra, with a 77.4 score against 73.3. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) construction is a lot newer and noticeably lighter, but also thicker than Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has 9.0 Pie version while Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a much better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a just a little better pixels count per inch of screen. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features just a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a higher amount of RAM.
Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra shoots clearer pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and/or video in low-light situations and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra also counts with a back facing camera with lot more MP.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a little better battery performance than Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
